We have performed hundreds of exploration projects with combined services of diverse geophysical exploration methods and conventional geotechnical efforts. As a well rounded geophysics and engineering consulting group we can improve any project with an innovative approach.
The best foot forward on exploration is using minimal expense and effort at the onset to gain maximum information for a finalized plan.
We can work with you in a stepped, or phased approach, to be sure every effort is maximized and based on incoming information. The Earth has no boilerplate.
We think on our feet and get better evaluations by examining data as we move forward. It takes flexibility instead of cookbook plans to meet the needs of unexpected field conditions.
When these needs arise, we will be ready and keep you fully informed.
· Natural Source audiomagnetotellurics (AMT) measure low frequency signals from naturally occurring potential fields to provide data generally from 300 to 3000 feet below the surface.
· Controlled Source Audiomagnetotellurics (CSAMT) measure potential field signals generated from the subsurface interaction of a controlled source. CSAMT data generally spans depth from 10 to 700 feet below ground surface.
· VLF reporting, data review, and QA/QC. Routine weekly work for company specializing in water well siting.
-Low frequency seismic shear wave studies for strata identification as deep as 4,000 to 5,000 feet.
· Seismic refraction to assess depth to bedrock and rippability. (Immediately supplies data on depth and nature of bedrock with depth)
· Shear wave profiling combined with refraction to determine geotechnical design coefficients at specific build areas of the subject site. Note: this combination also allows development of lithology interpretations.
· Passive seismic shear wave soundings for determination of Seismic Site Class across several areas of the site. (Required parameter for construction).
-Determination of depth to groundwater across the site.Various methods. (Due diligence and design data).
· Gravity studies utilizing industry gravimeters for detection of geologic structural contrasts.
· Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) near surface geology, buried structures, and artifacts studies on land and for evaluations of structural elements. Shallow-often used by operations personnel. Deep-to 100 ft. Geology studies.
· Sub-Bottom profiling. Marine based profiling of sediments and sea/reservoir floors with 3-D mapping.
· Geotechnical Services; Site Specific Seismic Site Evaluation, All Reporting, Quantitative and Software Based Analysis, All Field Duties, Construction Monitoring, and Instrumentation.
· Technical consulting on vibration monitoring and testing projects for other firms.
· Any type of vibration monitoring and testing including
· Mineral and Petroleum prospects for potential purchases.
· Litigation support for technical and standard of practice claims.
· Professional legal consultation on well siting and well performance.
· Peer review of geophysical projects using multiple methods.
